DNA Collection Kit
Upon completion of the order we will send you a convenient and easy to use home DNA Collection Kit by mail, which will contain detailed instructions for you in order to collect and send us your DNA on a buccal swab. (One time none refundable charge of $24.99 for the kit and shipping and handling).
Laboratory Testing
Your DNA collection kit will be sent to the laboratory that performs that particular test to start the evaluation and testing process. If you have collected enough DNA on your buccal swab then we can proceed to testing, otherwise you will have to repeat the collection process.
Results
When the test results are ready you can either download them from our website or request an original copy to be mailed to you at no extra cost. However if you choose to download your results, we recommend you to use a user-name instead of your name that you choose during signup to further protect your test results and privacy.

Sampling Process
Few days after you placed your order you will receive a DNA collection kit containing two buccal (cheek) swabs by mail. A letter with your information will be enclosed for you to acknowledge the order and make sure that we have your correct information. We ask you to sign this letter to verify that the collected sample belongs to you an you agree to testing terms and conditions. If for any reason you do not wish to continue with the order you may cancel the test by email or phone so you won’t be charged for the test. However the $24.99 charge for the DNA collection kit is nonrefundable.
Collecting DNA Sample
Please open the envelope, take out the swabs, and make sure that your name matches with what is printed on the swabs.
Please do not eat or smoke at least one hour before collecting the cells from inside of your mouth. Please rinse your mouth or gargle with drinking water 5 minutes before you start sampling.
Take the first swab and place it in your mouth such that it touches inside of your cheek. Move the swab up and down while pressing it against you cheek. Do this for 15 times then move it to you other cheek and do the same for another 15 times. Please make sure that the swab pushes against the inside of your cheek for proper and sufficient collection. The swab movements should be similar to brushing inside of your cheek with your toothbrush.
